Mahjong 101: A Beginner Evening with Kimberly & Emily
Curious about mahjong? Pull up a chair! Join us in the gathering room for a relaxed introduction to this wonderfully addictive game.
This class is designed for beginners, so there’s no need to know the rules or bring any equipment. We’ll introduce the tiles, walk through the basics of American mahjong, and guide you through practice play with plenty of time for questions.
Kimberly met Emily at a mahjong table and loved her patient, easy-to-follow explanations so much that she invited her to co-host this evening. Together, they’ll help you feel comfortable getting started.
Your $50 ticket includes:
• A 2½-hour beginner session
• An introduction to the tiles, rules, and flow of play
• Guided practice and time for questions
• Use of all the supplies you’ll need during class
Come with a friend or join us on your own—you don’t need to bring a full group to have a place at the table.
